Portico Real Estate Investments / Portico Residential LLC have their history linked to its family-owned concrete
construction business established by the late Natividad Pachecano in 1950. Widely known in southwest Texas as the
concrete contractor of choice by the late 1950s, Pachecano & Sons became synonymous with the delivery of innovative, high
quality construction and friendly service.
By the early 1960s, the company grew to 300 employees and built the foundations in many of the first tier subdivisions
in San Antonio, including hundreds of concrete bridges and civil engineered storm drainage systems. In the 1970s, the construction
company dissolved and left only real estate interests to manage. By the mid 1990s, the family real estate holdings grew to
a modest size.
Today, the firm has taken on a new and different approach to real estate development. The business serves a broader market
base no longer limited to region. By combining an understanding of the financial, legal, urban planning, design, construction,
and political aspects of development, the firm's reperatoire of professional services has grown to include review of legal
documentation and financial strategies affecting small and large scale development projects.
